Product Marketing Lead

As a founding member of the Product Marketing team, the Product Marketing Lead will drive GTM efforts that drive awareness and activation for Accrue.

About the role

As a founding member of the Product Marketing team, you will drive GTM efforts that drive awareness and activation for Acccue . The ideal candidate has experience supporting and enabling sales teams, leading marketing launches, and developing successful consumer product adoption campaigns.

Job Requirements

What you’ll do

  • Develop and refine Accrue’s merchant buyer and consumer saver personas, messaging, and product positioning
  • Work with Sales and product teams to successfully launch new retail partners and ensure product feature adoption
  • Enable and educate Accrue’s sales and account management teams on new product features, use cases, and product capabilities
  • Develop sales collateral such as customer stories, demo scripts, pitch decks, and data sheets
  • Own landing page content development to build product awareness and generate top of funnel leads
  • Interview customers, conduct industry research, and run tests in collaboration with our product team to help inform our market narrative and positioning
  • Collaborate with the Sales and Product teams to prioritize partners and set shared goals around co-marketing efforts
  • Develop strategy for partner marketing efforts including segmentation by company size and industry, as well as playbook of tactics for successful co-marketing & merchant launches.

What you'll need

  • 3+ years in a product or solutions marketing role
  • Familiarity with SaaS ideally in the marketing software space
  • Experience supporting enterprise sales teams and taking new products to market
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Extreme agility and a strong bias towards action
  • Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a bias toward getting things done
  • Thrives with autonomy while enjoying accountability for performance
  • Prior experience at a hyper-growth startup

The estimated pay range for this role, based in New York City, is $80,000 - 150,000 (annual).

The range listed is just one component of Accrue's total compensation package; other benefits include those listed above such as healthcare and 401k.
