MM Sales Manager

Managing the MM Sales team, you will be responsible for building and deploying the sales strategy to support our team

About the role

Reporting to the CEO, this is an incredible opportunity to join the founding team and be a part of all major future decisions. As the Sales Manager to our SMB Sales team, you will be responsible for building and deploying the sales strategy to support our team. You'll build and lead a team of SMB sales professionals and you'll have an opportunity to make a massive impact on Accrue Savings and take it to the next level for both our organization and customers. You set a high bar for execution, both in terms of quality and speed. Your leadership, passion for sales and ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally will help to continue to grow our business.

Job Requirements

What you'll do

  • Directly manage our account executive team selling to small and medium-sized businesses
  • Attend sales and customer meetings in order to coach our account executive team, increase our win-rate
  • Work with CEO on team strategy, improving processes and go-to-market effectiveness
  • Set and drive goals, objectives, budgets, sales targets and quotas to achieve and exceed our long-range strategic objectives
  • Provide feedback to Product and Engineering to assist with future product development
  • Work cross functionally across the go-to-market organization to develop a better sales strategy, which will ultimately show ROI within the vertical
  • Develop and maintain reporting to track all key metrics within the sales vertical
  • Accurately forecast sales metrics regarding the MM sales vertical
  • Serve as a strong leader to your sales team through strong communication, coaching, individual development, and goal setting

What we'd love to see

  • 4+ years of Software sales, preferably in marketing software for e-commerce and retail companies or fintech
  • Experience as a sales manager at a fast-growing company is required
  • Extremely comfortable in outside sales meetings and events
  • Self-starter, entrepreneurial hustle mindset approach to managing your team and quota
  • Thrives in creative, empowering environments
  • Strong track record of driving results and developing your team
